Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a leader, quick learner and be able to work independently. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical. The leader needs to balance technical leadership and savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience;

2. 0 to 1.5 years of Software Development experience;

3. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design

4. Computer Science fundamentals in data structure

5. Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

6. Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

2. Ability to work well with people and be both highly motivated and motivating

3. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

4. Web services and web application/services development experience.

5. Experience developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications in a 24/7 environment.
